There are four kinds of batteries commonly used in solar street lamps

- Aug 02, 2018-

1. Lead-acid battery: low price, suitable for low temperature and high rate discharge; seal is maintenance-free; but care should be taken to prevent lead acid pollution, which is too bulky and will be phased out.

2, nickel-cadmium battery: strong, cheap and economical and durable, low temperature performance; but need to pay attention to prevent cadmium metal pollution to the environment.

3, nickel-metal hydride storage battery: high rate charge and discharge performance, no pollution, for green batteries; small system adoption, it is worth promoting.

4, ternary lithium battery: high temperature performance, large capacity, high charge and discharge efficiency, light weight, environmental protection and no pollution; but its price is expensive, the charger is also selective.
